Over 30 years ago, the Mediterranean Market opened its doors with the promise to provide exceptional meat and seafood to the Fort Lauderdale community with the best customer service in town. From there, we widened our offerings to include cheese, wine and fresh produce for our customers, many of which are boat enthusiasts. Since Fort Lauderdale is a central hub for national and international voyages, this set us up to be a perfect match for yacht provisioning as well as catering. Today, we strive to make your experience at the Market one that will keep you coming back, time after time by making each customer feel special.

Our Staff & Chefs:
Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.  We value our customers and pride ourselves on remembering your names and the foods you like. Our Core Chef Calvin has over 35 years of experience and has been with the Mediterranean Market for over 12 years. He makes all of the prepared foods fresh and onsite daily. Chef Calvin assists customers from meal planning for an elegant home party to the planning and execution of an event of 400 people. Our very own French Pastry Chef makes exceptional pastries that are always made fresh – never frozen. Rosa prepares a wide selection of well-known and extraordinary fresh salads, and has been with the market for over 14 years.

The Market:
All of our food is of the highest quality with nothing frozen, processed or premade. Everything we sell is prepared fresh daily. We pride ourselves on providing you the very best in:

High Quality Meats: Well aged Midwestern Beef, crown roasts of pork or lamb, veal, poultry and homemade sausage. Special meat orders and cuts are welcome. We also have our own highly experienced, full time Butcher on site.

Seafood: Fresh fish is offered daily here, making us one of the best sources of seafood in Fort Lauderdale. We also offer seasonal stone crab.

Wine & Cheese: We stock a wide selection of imported and domestic wine and cheeses. We have chefs on hand to help our patrons find the perfect pairing for their meals.

Fresh Produce & Quality Spices: Our buyers are incredibly selective when it comes to our produce, using local suppliers to ensure the freshest produce possible.

Baked Goods & Desserts: Never frozen, our exquisite desserts are prepared fresh daily and include the most incredible pastries, muffins, breads and more. Custom dessert orders are welcome. Compliment these fine desserts with fresh brewed hot coffee by Jean Pierre.
